Compact GFRP Rebar Machine Targets Small to Mid-Sized Construction Firms

August 22, 2024 – For small and mid-sized construction companies struggling with limited factory space and budget constraints, a new compact GFRP rebar machine has emerged as a game-changer. Developed by a European machinery startup, the MiniGFRP-200 occupies just 50 square meters of floor space – half the size of standard models – and comes with a price tag 30% lower than high-end alternatives.

Despite its smaller footprint, the machine retains core functions: it can produce GFRP rebars with diameters ranging from 6mm to 20mm, meet GB/T 26743 standards, and achieve a daily output of 8-10 tons. It also features a user-friendly touchscreen control panel, making it easy for operators with basic training to use.

“The MiniGFRP-200 opens the door for smaller firms to adopt GFRP rebars, which were once only accessible to large enterprises,” explained the startup’s CEO. “We’ve already received over 50 orders from markets like India, Brazil, and South Africa, where small-scale construction projects are booming.” The company plans to launch a mobile version of the machine next year, allowing on-site GFRP rebar production.
